Welcome to the Hamelin Museum!

The museum is open!

When entering the museum, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery must be presented AND you need a current certificate of a negative Covid test.

The Hamelin Museum uses the Luca app. Alternatively, a contact form can be filled out.

During your visit you have to wear a FFP2 mask (children under 6 years of age are excluded).

In addition, the requirements of the current Lower Saxony Corona Ordinance regarding hygiene and distance apply.

Sayings, idioms and dictums are the salt in the soup of any language. This special exhibition explores the origins of some of the most famous phrases und sayings used in the German language.
